We have completed a small system upgrade for a local window and door mfg. The machine in question is an older automatic miter saw. It had an early model AllenBradley PLC model SLC 150 for the controller. The wiring in the control panel was in typical shape for an older machine, it was all pulled out of the wiring trays and in disarray. The 24VDC power supply was sitting loose on the bottom of the control panel, and a control relay was hanging by its wires. We fastened the power supply to the back panel, and got the relay on the DIN rail with the new PLC. We installed a new Telemacnique TWIDO model PLC, and programmed it for the current useage for the machine. We also cleaned up the wiring, and got it in order.
