We had the opportunity to upgrade a timer module for an industrial drying process. The machine in question is fairly old, and it had “old-school” mechanical “spring motor driven” timers which were no longer readily available. We specified a new electronic timer that has a bright display for ease of use, and is easy to operate. We worked with the maintenance department at the job-site to cut an opening in the control panel for the new timer. We connected the wiring, programmed the timer settings, and the customer is very pleased with the result. This was a very simple job, but highlights how a simple control upgrade can make things much easier for the operator.
